Bethesda Christian School
In the 1990s, Liberia was decimated by a civil war. Seeking to help the recovering nation, College Park’s involvement in Liberia is multi-faceted. Bethesda Christian School, a school affiliated with the Child Evangelism Fellowship, is training children to be followers of Jesus Christ who will have an impact in their country for Him. Abundant Harvest Farms is an economic development program of growing rubber trees whose proceeds help assist Bethesda Christian School. Triumphant Transformation Kids provides training and assistance for the extremely poor and destitute. College Park Church is involved through funding, scholarships and vision teams that help with construction and other projects.
Since 2004, College Park Church has been involved in an effort to bring the gospel to the people of the Caspian region. Our work has included helping to get the full Bible translated and printed in the local language, as well as sending workers on the ground who are engaged in church planting efforts.
Good News for India
Through our partnership with Good News for India, College Park is supporting the training of Indian nationals to reach north India with the gospel, including one of the largest unreached people groups in the world.
Heart for Lebanon
The war in Syria has devastated the Syrian population. Almost eight million people are internally displaced and an additional five million people have fled Syria to neighboring countries, like Lebanon. As a result, Lebanon is the largest per capita host of refugees worldwide. Heart for Lebanon, a non-denominational Christian organization, seeks to meet physical and emotional needs by creating faith-defining environments that give under-resourced children and families in Lebanon the chance to encounter God and grow spiritually.
Ukranian Evangelical Theological Seminary (UETS)
One of the greatest needs in Ukraine is for trained leaders to plant and pastor newly developed churches throughout the country. This is the vision of UETS: to train leaders for the church as well as in the political, legal, and social arenas. College Park Church is involved in sponsoring students as well as sending teams to help with various needs at the seminary.
World Relief Cambodia
Cambodia is a land that was ravaged by Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge. Immense physical suffering, however, has opened doors and hearts for the Gospel. World Relief Cambodia seeks to incarnate Christ among these hurting people through micro-enterprise development, HIV/AIDS education and care, maternal and natal health training and anti-trafficking programs in order to build the Church in Cambodia. College Park Church partners with World Relief by prayer, funding, and sending English as a Second Language (ESL) teams.
