There are four primary ways College Park Church demonstrates financial accountability within the context of our Core Values. Fundamentally, these venues for accountability rely on the principle of transparency which specifically flows from our value of extravagant grace.
We desire to be a community of believers that treats others with the same extravagant grace God has lavished upon us. We yearn to demonstrate this grace through our church culture and our lives in a way that is transparent, real, and helpful.
To do so, we have adopted the four following measures for financial accountability:
- We publish our financial statements each year
- We have an independent accounting firm conduct a financial audit annually
- We have established the Elder Finance Committee, which is elder-led, to review the church’s financial reports on a regular basis
- We are members of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability (ECFA) which provides accreditation to Christian nonprofit organizations that consistently demonstrate compliance with established standards for financial accountability, fundraising, and board governance
