The goal of the Student Ministry curriculum is to engage students with the Bible within the context of a broken world. God has sufficiently provided a book to teach us godliness, and it is our responsibility to communicate his Word in a clear, compelling, and creative way.
It is our prayer that God will use our curriculum in students' lives so that as we present these truths to students, they will grow in physical, emotional, social, and spiritual maturity. We pray that God raises up this generation to go into college and the workforce with a solid understanding of the gospel and a desire to be missional wherever God places them.
Areas of Focus
Gospel-Centered Worldview – We focus on teaching the gospel and biblical doctrine in a way that provides a framework for students to view the culture and world around them.
Christ-Centered Bible Literacy – We focus on biblical literacy so students will know their Bibles and will see and engage with Christ from Genesis to Revelation.
Countercultural Lifestyle – We focus on speaking into the subjects that students are dealing with in their everyday lives so they will gain wisdom to navigate a broken world with grace and truth.
Lifelong Habits – Students can’t depend on our ministry or the church to feed them forever, so we focus on teaching them to practice Christian disciplines on their own so they are prepared when they leave our ministry and go into the workforce or college.
