The vision of our Preschool ministry
In Preschool (2-5 years), we continue forming the foundation begun in the Nursery. We do this by familiarizing children with God’s Word. In the first stage of Preschool, we introduce and reinforce several more foundational Bible stories. During the second and third stage, we walk your child through the Old and New Testament over the course of two years. We pray that this broad exposure to the Word of God will bring a familiarity with the Word and paint the picture that our God is a big God. We also hope that you will also use these formative years to familiarize your children with the Bible.
What is my child learning?
Children who are two years old as of August of the current school year will be in one of our two-year-old classrooms. The curriculum being taught is "Truth78: Sure Foundation Older Toddler." This curriculum is designed to help our toddlers begin to understand prayer, foundational Bible stories, and simple truth statements. It will help them begin to memorize Scripture as they form their language skills.
- Curriculum – Truth78 (see specific curriculum below)
-
Foundation Verses – We desire your children to have a storehouse of biblical truth to embrace and stand on as they grow. In the Preschool, your children will continue memorizing one verse per month. Your child’s classroom leader will provide these so you can work with your child at home. We pick all Preschool verses from Truth78’s Foundation Verses.
